sinceThis website is an ode to The World's Greatest Love Story™ – our story, and a celebration of all the memories we've made together. Falling in love with you has undoubtedly been the greatest adventure of my life, You're my partner in life, my favourite person in the world, and my ride-or-die best friend.
This was the day we first met! We weren't the most interested in each other but I remember thinking that you seemed generally nice and that you were also exceedingly beautiful.
This was your 21st birthday! I remember being flattered that you would invite me but to be fair I considered us friends by this point and I had an enjoyable time.
This was the day we went for Poor Things. I remember feeling excited when we ended up sitting together and when we went to the Whey Pat afterwards I had this strange desire to talk only to you. By the end of the night I knew I liked you and I was pretty sure I wanted something to happen between us.
This was the night we went to the Rusacks and got £5 pizza. Irene asked me before dinner if I was excited to see you and I was a little embarassed that everyone knew I liked you but I was indeed very excited to see you.
The first time I visited you at Peggy's! I was nervous visiting you on my own so I made sure Jake would be there before me so I didn't seem too forward but I also wanted to make it clear that I was into you so I brought you a diet pepsi which you said "made your day". I think your telling me about how you had recently developed an affinity for diet coke was definitely a green flag. I took these creepy doll pictures to commemorate the occasion.
This was the night we went to that South Street party. I was super desperate to make sure you came so I told both Jake and Marshall about it to ensure multiple people in the cohort would make the attempt so as to increase my chances. This was the first time we danced together and I remember being pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I felt.
This was the very next day and the first time you came to my house for dinner! I cooked up a storm and made this elaborate meal for the sole purpose of impressing you and we went to Ryley's bonfire afterwards where I flirted with you for the first time by lightly grazing your knee. Salacious. Our Chicago cover was super cute and it was a pretty wholesome night overall.
And this was our cute little sleepover night. I remember our conversation at the windowsill about our best and worst traits. At some point you said "depends on how much you want to divulge in this conversation" and I found myself surprised because I was already comfortable telling you everything. I remember being happy about the fact that we ended up on adjacent beds and the next day Marshall told me you weren't planning on spending the night and it was implied that I was the reason you did.
Happy birthday Jake! This was a cute library day we spent together. I remember it because it kind of felt like an established group when you me and Jake sat together which for some reason made me feel reassured about my prospects with you. This was also the day after our first proper date that Safia crashed!
And this was our Valentine's Day dinner! Literally, the only reason I planned this dinner was so we could spend Valentine's day together and so you could be impressed with my cooking. I guess having a wholesome dinner with my friends was also a minor reason. I gave you a rose and an origami flower, you kissed me on my cheek, and the rest, as they say, is history.
And this was the fateful night we kissed for the first time. I remember feeling so sure about you. It sounds silly, but even then I knew I had found the person I wanted to be with forever. I was crazy nervous but also so excited and I was beyond happy when you told me you liked me outside your front door.
And this was the weekend after we first got together! I remember being very happy at the pub even though I was stressed about my dissertation because we were with our friends and it was basically a done deal at this point. We went to Aikmans that night and I stole those headphones and that's how I knew you were chill.
This was when I gave you that sick origami star I made. I don't know why I was so into gifting you origami but I think I did it because it was an acceptable way to express my immense feelings without being weird. This was also our first M*** night which was a crazy decision but went so well!
And this was the first time you stayed over at my house! I figured you would probably sleep over after the party that night and I thought it would be prudent to prepare 3 breakfast options. I was very amused when you asked me if it was okay if you stayed and I had to demonstrate just how okay it was by telling you about the breakfast options.
This was the day we went for Szentek at Aikmans with Sarah Burke! We also went and had eggs benedict at Bibi's which was probably our first "brunch" and discovered to the poem Golf by Colin McAllister.
This was our first jazz night together! I kept looking at you while I was playing to make sure you were watching because again, a large part of why I wanted to go was so you could see me play the drums and be impressed. I hope it worked. This was also the night I took my favourite picture of you in the world <3
And this was Glitterball! I had such a lovely night and was so happy you could see me on stage. This is also the first picture someone else took of us which was a big moment and one of my favourite pictures of us. I thought it was very sweet that you left with me when I got kicked out and it was such a sick night overall.
And this was the day we made our duck earrings together and also went for Piper's 70s themed party. I was very impressed with your earring-making ability and craftiness and I still cherish those earrings.
And this was the day I asked you to be my girlfriend. I was hella nervous so I delayed it till after breakfast and the incredibly awkward way I stumbled through my sentence will forever be burned in my memory but you said yes so we're going to pretend like I was super smooth.
This is the day we went thrift shopping which was very sweet. We also took these silly library pictures which I love and found that mystery cake!
And this was the first walk we ever took together! It was very sweet and we walked around the scores and I felt very happy about it. It was our first walk as an official couple so it was quite a big deal.
And this was the day we made many delicious crepes and sat in the quad with Jake and Jen and Maisie! I thought our matching outfits were super cute and I just loved this whole phase of our lives in St Andrews.
And on this day we sat outside the library and drank Coronas! I'm not sure if the stalker picture of us was from this day but I think it might've been and I was delighted that someone thought we were cute enough to take a stalker picture of.
And this was Moving Castle! I had an incredible time with you and the whole day I couldn't get over how I had a hot raver girlfriend. This was the first time we had an experience like this together and I felt so safe and comfortable with you and overall it was a delightful day.
And this was my birthday! You made me a breggit for breakfast and we went to Rishi's for lunch. I remember being slightly worried about my birthday not feeling very special and I wasn't the most excited about it but you made me feel incredibly special as soon as I woke up and I felt very grateful for you.
And this was probably the first time I made a cheese-chorizo omelette for you! You were so extra about how much you liked them and it made me feel so good that I still take every opportunity I get to make you one. You look very cute eating it.
And this was our 1 month anniversary. I wanted to make it special so I made those fancy pork chops and I was mildly blindsided when you gave me the next Terry Pratchett book I wanted to read as a present. It made me feel special because by that point you'd given me a few gifts and they were always very thoughtful and things I'd mentioned wanting.
And this was May dip! We were both so sick that night but we persevered nonetheless and had cute crepes the next day and that yummy brunch. I still love picture Marshall got of us illegally kissing.
And this was my soaking! We both saw the northern lights this night for the first and although we weren't together, it was still a special moment and I love these silly pictures we got at the beach.
And this was the day we went and hung out in the hammock you got me. This is one of my favourite days we've spent together and even though I couldn't come on the trip, I was happy we'd managed to spend so much quality time together.
En route Glasgow! I was super happy you planned this trip and were so proactive about it and it was our first excursion anywhere! I had the most superlatively lovely and romantic time with you and I was so grateful to you for pushing for it.
Day 2 in Glasgow! I always love shopping with you but going around Glasgow looking for thrift shops is probably my favourite of the times we've shopped together. We also had many delicious meals and it was a very sweet little getaway.
And this was the day before my mother came to St Andrews! We went for a cute walk to the woods and ate many grapes and it was a pretty special day for multiple reasons.
And this was yours and my graduation! I know they weren't on the same day but I thought I'd combine them for brevity. I took this screenshot of you getting bopped with the hat and I think you look very sweet.
And this was grad ball! It was a super fun and happy and sad and emotional day. We cried so much after we left but it was a super wholesome time with all our friends.
And this was when we reunited in London. I missed you a crazy amount for the 10 days we were apart and we had a lovely 5 guys meal after I picked you up from Kings Cross.
This was the day we went to that cute Vietnamese place for dinner. It was our first proper dinner in London and the start of our culinary exploration together. We got very wet in the rain and went to that nice pub as well.
This was our first day doing touristy things in London! You met Aarav for the first time and I took many tourist Niamh pictures of you and we saw much natural history.
This was when we went for Amadou and Mariam! It was our first proper concert together and it was a pretty amazing performance.
And this was our Hampstead Heath day! I had such a fun time swimming with you and we had such an adorable picnic and met that wonderful husky.
And this was the first time we visited the Trafalgar. We played monodeal and went down to the beach and took cute couple pics and slipped on the mossy stones and it was lots of fun.
My first day in Colombo! I was super happy I was able to come and we went to watch that stupid Deadpool movie and froze in the cinema.
More Sri Lanka! We went to that super cute place for breakfast and had those amazing croissants and went for dinner with your family.
En route Galle! The place we went to for dinner was so delicious, I think of that crab curry every day. I also made you cry outside the restaurant by being nice to you which I thought was sweet and we had a very romantic dinner.
Day 2 in Galle! We went to that amazing seafood place and I taught you how to eat with your hands and we spent the whole day looking at trinkets and shopping.
Colombo again! We had our cute little train journey back and went for buffet lunch with your mother which was super fun and watched the bagpipes at Galle Face.
Both our last days in Sri Lanka. It was a super sad occasion but the breakfast we had was so delicious. We should go back.
Reunited once again! This was the day of your flatwarming party which I thought was super adorable and we had a fun time. I love this blurry picture of us.
And this was the day you met the rest of my family! We had yummy burgers and they loved you to bits. I was told I'm not to be seen without you again.
This was the day we went to the Trafalgar with Marshall and Irene and Eleanor and my brother! It was honestly a great night and I stole that solid tray and that wedding man took a shine to us and gave us bacon baps!
And this was when we went to the Plume and Feathers! Another super cute night of monodeal and card games and climbing scaffolding.
And this was when we met Jolbick for the first time! I thought it was super cute how much he liked you and how much of a cat whisperer Niamh you turned out to be. We also made burgers that day.
This was our six-month dinner! We had another delicious Vietnamese meal and I was very happy we celebrated our six months like this.
And this was the pillow fort night! I thought it was a great bonding experience and the best way to celebrate our actual 6 month anniversary. I had a lovely time with you Marshall and Irene.
And this was the day we found plants for you and Eleanor took these adorable official couple pictures of us.
Happy Diwali! This is also one of my favourite days we've spent together and the Greenwich Diwali event was so fun. I thoroughly enjoyed feeding you momos and gol gappas and sharing that with you, and I had a great time at Kitchu Chitappa's Diwali party with you.
